PLEADED GUILTY
JOHN
ROULLIER (26), private in the 48th Regiment, to stealing a silver
watch and chain, value £6-10s, the property of John Campbell, in
a dwelling-house, at the parish of St. Sepulchre, on the 16th
June. The Recorder, in sentencing the prisoner to Six
Months Hard Labour, remarked that this was the first time since
he had sat on this bench that he had a soldier before him on a
charge of theft.
